The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, His Excellency Alexander S. Kurmaz, today, July 1, 2022 paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Robeson Benn, M.P and the Permanent Secretary, Ms. Mae Toussaint Jr. Thomas, at the Ministry’s Secretariat.

Some of the topics discussed during the meeting were strengthening bilateral agreements, areas for cooperation and exchange training programmes.

Minister Benn was also advised on the progress and welfare of the five (5) Police Officers currently studying various law enforcement disciplines in Russia.
