The Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Robeson Benn, M.P and the Permanent Secretary, Ms. Mae Toussaint Jr. Thomas, this morning, July 1, 2022, joined His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali to witness the piling of the drums and laying of the Golden Arrowhead and the Police Flag at Guyana Police Force Traditional Drum Head Church Service, at the Tactical Services Unit Drill Square.
This church service commemorates the Force’s 183rd anniversary and is the forerunner of several activities for the force’s anniversary.
The Guyana Police Force was established on July 1st, 1839.
