Courts Donates Helmets, Motorcycle to the Guyana Police Force

The Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Robeson Benn, attended a road safety press conference held by Unicomer Guyana at the COURTS Mega Store on Main Street. The conference underscored the paramount importance of road safety and rallied for collective action to uphold it.

Minister Benn commended Unicomer Guyana for its proactive stance and emphasised the vital role of public-private partnerships in addressing road safety challenges. He urged citizens to join in the effort, recommitting themselves to responsible behaviour on the roads.

During the event, the Courts Unicomer Group demonstrated its unwavering commitment to road safety by donating 20 full-face helmets and an AKT motorcycle to the Guyana Police Force Traffic Department.

Traffic Chief Senior Superintendent Mahendra Singh, Chairman of the National Road Safety Council Mr. Earl Lambert, Coordinator Ms. Ramona Doorgen, Human Resource Manager Ms. Kara Boyce, Marketing and Merchandise Director Ms. Eldri Fergusion-Mackey, Brand Manager for AKT, Mr. Collis Venture and Sergeant Richard Trotz, among other special invitees and members of the media, were present.
