The Community Policing Group (CPG), in collaboration with ranks of the Vigilance Police Station Traffic Department, today (September 19, 2025) hosted an educational lecture at Bladen Hall Secondary School to raise awareness among students on key issues affecting their safety and well-being.
The interactive session focused on the dangers of illegal drug use, the impact of school violence, and the importance of proper road usage.
The lecture was facilitated by Liaison Officer Zabeeda Osman, Lance Corporal Shepherd, and Constable Persaud, who engaged the 255 students and 10 teachers in meaningful dialogue and provided practical guidance to encourage positive decision-making.
This initiative forms part of the Community Policing Group and the Guyana Police Force’s ongoing commitment to youth engagement, education, and the promotion of safer communities.
