Police, Army ranks complete ‘Weapon and Ammunition Management Training’

The five days Weapons and Ammunition Management Training concluded on Friday, 10th November 2023 at the Officers Training Center and saw several persons from the Guyana Police Force (GPF) and the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) participating.

The course was sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth office, CARICOM IMPACS and Mines Advisory Groups, funded by the UK Government and delivered by MAG CARICOM from 6th-10th November 2023.

Among the officials present at the concluding ceremony for the training were Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Mr. Andre Ally; Deputy Commissioner ‘Operations’ Mr. Ravindradat Budhram; UK High Commissioner, Ms. Jane Miller; Technical Expert of MAG Mr. Christopher Snaith, and Programme Officer of MAG Ms. Nikita Mohammed.
