The Ministry of Home Affairs is participating in the National Toshoas Council Conference (NTC) 2024 Exhibition, which is being held under the theme “Astute Leadership for Amerindian Development”, at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre, Liliendaal on the East Coast of Demerara.
At the exhibition, the Ministry’s booth features several key agencies, including the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU), the Trafficking in Persons and Migrant Smuggling Unit, the Guyana Fire Service, and the Road Safety Council. Each agency will provide insights into their critical roles and ongoing initiatives.
Additionally, the General Register’s Office is present, offering information about their vital record services, including the issuance of Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, and Marriage Certificates.
This exhibition presents a valuable opportunity for the public to engage with these essential services, gain a deeper understanding of their functions, and access important information.
