The opening remarks was done by the Permanent Secretary, Ms. Mae Toussaint Jr. Thomas and each programme managers which included the Guyana Police Force, the Guyana Prison Service, the Guyana Fire Service, Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit, General Registrar Office and the Ministry, presented overviews of their programme expenditures and highlighted plans for the remainder of the year. The Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Robeson Benn, M.P was in attendance to give support to the programmes.
