During her visit on Saturday (September 27, 2025), Minister Walrond experienced firsthand the capabilities of the state-of-the-art fire boat, (Protector Eight).
Onboard, she witnessed a live firefighting demonstration that highlighted the high level of precision, coordination, and expertise required to operate such specialized equipment.
“This visit reinforced the Government’s steadfast commitment to equipping our Fire Service with world-class technology and targeted human resource development,” Minister Walrond said. “Ensuring the safety of our people is paramount, and investing in both skilled personnel and modern equipment is key to strengthening our national emergency response.”
