The Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Robeson Benn, M.P., convened the monthly National Community Policing Group (CPG) meeting to assess the progress and challenges of community policing efforts across the country.
Also in attendance were Permanent Secretary Mr. Andre Ally, Head of the National CPG Mr. Reshi Das, and Liaison Officers representing all ten Administrative Regions.
The meeting provided a strategic forum to evaluate ongoing initiatives, strengthen intelligence-driven decision-making, and enhance community safety measures. Discussions centered on the role of actionable intelligence in addressing security concerns and ensuring the continued effectiveness of Community Policing Groups nationwide.
The Ministry of Home Affairs remains committed to fostering collaboration between law enforcement and communities to promote safety, trust, and proactive crime prevention strategies.
