Minister of Home Affairs, Hon. Robeson Benn, received a courtesy call from the new non-resident French Ambassador to Guyana, HE Nicholas De Lacoste, on February 22, 2023.

The duo exchanged pleasantries and the discussion was centered around current and future areas of cooperation between the two countries and the intent to further widen the scope of collaboration in the area of security in Guyana.

Ambassador De Lacoste was accompanied by Mr. Pierre Gate, Cooperation Officer and Representative of the French Embassy branch in Georgetown.
