Minister of Home Affairs Hon. Robeson Benn, M.P. and Permanent Secretary Mr. Andre Ally joined H.E President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips, Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, Susan Rodrigues, as well as several Cabinet Members, members of the Diplomatic Corp, representatives from the Private Sector and other special invitees at the official launch of the International Building Expo 2023, which was held at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara.

Following the opening ceremony, Minister Benn and Mr. Ally visited several booths to learn more about the products and services on exhibition.

The International Business Expo is being held under the theme “Building For All: One Guyana, Many Opportunities” and will run from August 24 to 27, 2023, at the Guyana National Stadium.

The expo aims to provide a platform for networking, creating opportunities and fostering collaboration among local and foreign investors to transcend Guyana’s architectural landscape.
