The Hon’ble Robeson Benn, Minister of Home Affairs is participated in the official observance of Guyana’s 59th Independence Anniversary, taking place at the Albion Sports Complex in Berbice.

Minister Benn have joined His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana; Prime Minister, the Honourable Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips; members of the Cabinet; the Diplomatic Corps; Heads of the Joint Services; senior and junior law enforcement officials; distinguished guests; and thousands of citizens in commemorating this significant national milestone.

The celebration marks nearly six decades since Guyana attained independence, and the event is being held under a spirit of national pride and unity, with cultural presentations, military displays, and a vibrant showcase of Guyanese heritage.
