Minister of Home Affairs and Permanent Secretary Joins National Patriotic Concert Ahead of Independence Day

The Hon. Robeson Benn, Minister of Home Affairs, and Permanent Secretary Mr. Andre Ally have joined His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister Hon. Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips, Cabinet members, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Heads of the Joint Services, senior and junior law enforcement officials, and thousands of patriotic citizens at the National Patriotic Concert held at the Anna Regina Car Park.
The event, held ahead of Guyana’s 59th Independence Anniversary, which will be celebrated on May 26, 2025, brings together a cross-section of the nation in a spirited display of national pride and unity.
The occasion reaffirmed the nation’s patriotism and underscored the unwavering message that Essequibo belongs to Guyana.
