The Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Robeson Benn, is currently attending the Home going Service of Woman Police Constable 25925 Annette Abiola Corbin-Abel which is currently being held at Perth Society Hall, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara.
Commissioner of Police Mr Clifton Hicken and other Senior and Junior Officers of the Guyana Police Force are among those at the funeral service.
The late Woman Police Constable Annette Abiola Corbin-Abel died on Thursday, November 16, 2023, while performing duty at a roadblock exercise at Beterverwagting, when a drunk driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into her.
Annette leaves to mourn her husband Owen James; Children Abigail, Allison, and Ezekiel; Foster daughter Onake; grandchildren Azariah and Azriel; mother, Hazel; siblings Denise, Melinda, Yonette, Ann, Felicia and Hadassah, as well as several other family members and friends
