Minister of Home Affairs, Hon. Robeson Benn, M.P., received a courtesy call from Dutch Police Liaison Officer for Guyana, French Guiana, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago, Mr. Therns Lion, along with Customs Attaché, Mr. Hans Klunder at his Brickdam Office.
The discussions focused on enhancing ongoing and future collaboration between Guyana and the Netherlands in the fight against international organized crime, with a strong emphasis on both operational and strategic efforts.
Also in attendance were Permanent Secretary, Mr. Andre Ally; Director of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit, Mr. James Singh; and Commissioner of Police, Mr. Clifton Hicken.
