Guyana Prison Service Senior Officers’ Conference at the Police Officers’ Mess Annexe.

Minister of Home Affairs, Hon. Robeson Benn and Permanent Secretary Mr. Andre Ally, attended the opening ceremony of the Guyana Prison Service Senior Officers’ Conference at the Police Officers’ Mess Annexe.
Under the theme “Changing Mindsets and Culture for Corrections,” the conference runs until March 8 and focuses on key reforms within the prison system. Discussions will center around the Eight Strategic Pillars of the Guyana Prison Service, including modernizing infrastructure, legislative reforms, offender reintegration, and rebuilding public trust.
This year’s conference also welcomes a visiting delegation from the Bahamas, St. Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Anguilla, and Suriname, including:
