Mark Phillips, fellow cabinet members, members of the Diplomatic Corps, and the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Clifton Hicken, at the opening ceremony of the Guyana Police Force’s Annual Police Officers’ Conference held on, February 26, 2025, at the Police Officers’ Mess, Eve Leary.
Held under the theme “Building a Resilient and Contemporary Police Force: Strengthening Accountability, Innovation, and Partnership for Safer Communities,” the three-day conference, which will run until March 1, 2025, aims to enhance the operational and strategic readiness of the Guyana Police Force, focusing on innovation, accountability, and strong community partnerships.
