Minister of Home Affairs, Hon. Robeson Benn, on February 5, 2025, welcomed Mr. Hugo Boilard, Liaison Officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and Mr. Gerrard Arulanandan of the Toronto Police Service during a courtesy call at his Brickdam office.
The meeting was also attended by Permanent Secretary Mr. Andre Ally and Treaty Officer Ms. Ormella Gladstone. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between Guyana and Canadian law enforcement agencies, with an emphasis on bolstering partnerships in security and crime prevention.
