Hon. Minister Benn checking on the progress of the geotechnical investigation (soil testing) exercise which is currently ongoing in the Brickdam Police Station Compound.
The drilling phase of the investigation will soon conclude since samples are being taken from the third borehole.
The samples will be sent to the Ministry of Public Works materials testing laboratory for testing.
This geotechnical investigation will facilitate the construction to the new 12-storey Brickdam Police Station.
The investigation results will be shared with the bidders, however, they can perform their own geotechnical investigation if they so desire.
